NPT BAY (9.2) Bay Control Unit
NPT BAY (9.2) Bay control unit manufactured by LLC EnergyindustryAvtomatization is a multipurpose device that provides acquisition and processing of analog and discrete data on the facility's status as well as switchgear control.
NPT BAY Connection Controller supports all the functions necessary for operation within a digital substation. The connection controller allows transmission of data by means of IEC 61850-8-1 (MMS) protocol to the top level of the system, data exchange with other devices and remote RTUs using IEC 61850-8-1 (GOOSE) protocol, receive IEC 61850-9-2 data from multiplexer units. NPT BAY also supports all the functions necessary for operation within a traditional substation framework, including acquisition of discrete data with the help of discrete input modules, transmission of controlling commands with the help of relay-controller output modules, acquisition of analog data from traditional CT (1/5 A) and VT (100 V). NPT BAY bay control unit allows integration of other devices lacking IEC 61850 support by means of serial interfaces. This function allows use of such devices in the integrated information environment using IEC 61850 standard.

NPT BAY (9.2) controllers equipment design
The controllers are manufactured as a EuroPack crate 6U high and 19” wide, where power supply module, CPU module and up to 12 I/O modules are installed. NPT BAY controller is provided with front panel with display and controls. The equipment is intended for installation into a standard 19” indoor two-side rack.
Working temperature range from 0 to +40 С.
